Independent structural engineering practice in New York City — design, retrofit, forensic, and project delivery for complex buildings.
Adriano Brancaccio is a structural engineer with over 14 years of experience delivering structural analysis, design, construction administration, and project management for complex building projects in New York City and internationally.
His work experience — developed through roles at leading structural engineering firms — spans new developments as well as the evaluation, modification, forensic investigation, and retrofit of existing structures.
With a strong academic foundation and a particular focus on seismic and wind engineering, he specializes in full-building structural systems, existing-building retrofit, and construction-phase problem solving, working closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver efficient and buildable solutions. His experience includes high-rise and mid-rise buildings across concrete, steel, masonry, and timber systems, as well as complex structures requiring advanced analysis and detailed coordination.
Adriano has developed deep knowledge of international and local codes, industry standards, and construction practices, and was designated by the NYC Department of Buildings as a Qualified Parking Structures Inspector (QPSI).
Adriano is a NYC DOB–designated QPSI. Under Local Law 126 of 2021, a QPSI — a licensed Professional Engineer — inspects, evaluates, and reports on the structural condition of a garage, then files the signed assessment with the Department of Buildings.
