Adriano Brancaccio, PE
Adriano Brancaccio is a structural engineer with over 14 years of experience delivering structural analysis, design, construction administration, and project management for complex building projects in New York and Italy.
His work experience — developed through roles at leading structural engineering firms in New York City — spans new developments as well as the evaluation, modification, forensic investigation, and retrofit of existing structures.
With a strong academic foundation and a particular focus on seismic and wind engineering, he specializes in full-building structural systems, existing-building retrofit, and construction-phase problem solving, working closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver efficient and buildable solutions. His experience includes high-rise and mid-rise buildings across concrete, steel, masonry, and timber systems, as well as complex structures requiring advanced analysis and detailed coordination.
Among his most relevant projects are the structural project management for the new Pier 94 studios, the vertical expansion and residential-to-office conversion of 809 Broadway, and the detailed connection design for the ETFE roof support of the new JFK Terminal 1 arrival and departure canopies.
Adriano has developed deep knowledge of international and local codes, industry standards, and construction practices, and was designated by the NYC Department of Buildings as a Qualified Parking Structures Inspector (QPSI).
Adriano holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Naples Parthenope, and a Master of Science in Civil Structural Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He is a registered engineer in the States of New York and California and in Italy, and is a member of NYSEA, ACI, and AISC.
